911 S5 Proxy Alternative 2026 — Why You Don't Need One Anymore

If you're searching for a "911 S5 Proxy alternative," here's the good news: you don't need an alternative anymore. 911 S5 Proxy is back and operational at 911socks5.com with the same features, the same pricing structure, and fresh residential IPs in over 190 countries.

But if you want to understand how 911 S5 compares to the alternatives that emerged after the original service went offline, here's a detailed comparison.

Why 911 S5 Was Unique

The original 911 S5 Proxy was popular for reasons that no other provider has fully replicated:

• Per-proxy pricing — You paid per IP used, not per gigabyte. Heavy-bandwidth users saved massively.
• Lifetime balance — Your purchased proxy balance never expired. Buy once, use whenever.
• Unmetered bandwidth — No GB caps. Transfer as much data as you want per proxy connection.
• Dedicated client — A Windows app with country/state/city/ISP selection built in.
• Low entry price — Starting at just $28 for 150 proxies (about $0.19 per proxy).

911 S5 vs Popular Alternatives — Comparison

Service	Pricing	Balance Expiry	Bandwidth	SOCKS5	Min. Price
911 S5 Proxy	Per proxy	Lifetime	Unlimited	✅	$28
Bright Data	Per GB	Monthly	Metered	✅	$4/GB
Oxylabs	Per GB	Monthly	Metered	✅	$6/GB
Decodo	Per GB	Monthly	Metered	✅	$3.75/GB
SOAX	Per GB	Monthly	Metered	✅	$3.60/GB
IPRoyal	Per GB	Never expires	Metered	✅	$7/GB

The Problem with Per-GB Alternatives

Most proxy services that emerged as "911 alternatives" charge per gigabyte. This creates a fundamental problem for heavy users:

Example: If you need to scrape 10 GB of data using 500 residential IPs:

• 911 S5 cost: $28 (150 proxies plan covers 500+ rotations) — bandwidth is free
• Bright Data cost: $40-80 (10 GB × $4-8/GB)
• SOAX cost: $36 (10 GB × $3.60/GB) — plus $90/mo minimum
• Decodo cost: $37.50 (10 GB × $3.75/GB)

The more bandwidth you use, the more 911 S5's per-proxy model saves you. For high-bandwidth tasks like video scraping, ad verification with media loading, or large-scale data collection, the savings are massive.

Who Should Use 911 S5 Instead of Alternatives

• Heavy bandwidth users — If you transfer lots of data per proxy session, per-proxy pricing saves money
• Irregular usage patterns — Lifetime balance means you don't lose money during slow months
• Budget-conscious buyers — $28 entry vs $90-200/mo for comparable alternatives
• Windows users who prefer GUI — The dedicated client is easier than API configuration
• Anyone who used the original 911 S5 — Same workflow, same client interface

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best alternative to 911 S5 Proxy?

The best alternative is 911 S5 itself — the service has been rebuilt at 911socks5.com with the same features, same pricing, and same lifetime balance model. No other proxy provider on the market offers the combination of per-proxy pricing, unmetered bandwidth, and lifetime balance.

Why did people use 911 S5 instead of other proxy services?

911 S5 was unique because it charged per proxy connection rather than per gigabyte of traffic. This meant unlimited bandwidth for each proxy used. Combined with lifetime balance (no monthly expiry), a free Windows client with granular location targeting, and prices starting at just $28, it offered unmatched value for heavy proxy users.

Are there free alternatives to 911 S5?

Free proxy services exist but they come with severe drawbacks: slow speeds, unreliable connections, shared IPs that are already blacklisted, and no SOCKS5 support. Free proxies also carry security risks — they may log your traffic or inject ads. For any serious use case, a paid service like 911 S5 is the reliable choice.
